Ethan Parker Wallace, 21, devoted father and loving husband, died Sunday, July 7, 2024.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Faith Church, Valley Center.
Born November 11, 2002 in Arkansas City to Shawn and Shannon Wallace, Ethan was welcomed home by excited siblings, Courtney and Logan. Ethan was active in youth groups at both Bible Christian Church and First Baptist Church in Arkansas City starting at age 2. He was homeschooled until attending Dexter Public Schools and graduating from Valley Center High School in 2021. He was attending WSU Tech and was finishing his final class at the time of his passing.
Ethan loved sports and participated in soccer, wrestling, basketball, football, trapshooting, and Tae Kwon Do, but his passion was baseball. Ethan first played t-ball with his brother, Logan, at the age of 3. He played for the Ark City Rec League, Ponca City Jr. Baseball, and Drillers Babe Ruth team out of Howard, KS. This team became his family. His teammates were his brothers. He played High School varsity baseball in Dexter and Valley Center. He was dedicated to the sport and was a valuable player and talented pitcher. The Royals were his first favorite team and was ecstatic when they won the World Series in 2015. The Dodgers ultimately became his favorite team based on their excellent pitching staff and he even named their son Liam Hendriks in honor of their closing pitcher.
Ethan was a great friend. He was a party to be around and made his friends his family. Caleb, Mason, Joseph, Spencer, Keagan, Si, Jordan, Jesse, Colby, Rocky, Jared, Sean, Eric, and Tarik were among his brothers.
Ethan worked as a machinist at Dynamic Aviation in Rose Hill. Prior to that, he worked at Maxx Aerospace.
Ethan's greatest joy was found in his beautiful family. He adored his wife, Vanna, and their three sons. He was extremely excited about expecting another baby Wallace. He was the most devoted, loving father and husband.
He was so loved and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his son, Liam Wallace.

Ethan walked up to me at work with a question. If I had to choose a better band, would I choose The Beatles or the BeeGees?? I assumed he was on the Beatles side of this. I was wrong. We must have debated the 2 for 30 min. After I said the fake Beatles (Oasis) were better he realized I was now messing with him. He got a old man joke in and sauntered off as he would. Gunna miss you kid. G0G90G54X0Y0. Send it.

We would talk about his age to mine, he was like a son to me, which I was 44 at the time, now 45. I´m married, I have 3 girls of my own, 17, 16 & 8 almost 9, so I didnt get my son, but Ethan sure seemed like it. I could tell he was raised well, let alone of a younger generation. A very smart person, he worked really well at Max, always had a smile on his face, even under duress of normal stressful machining, he could take with a grain of salt. He was a rare one, to me he still is. Ethan will be missed very much, we built a lot of love for the guy and always will. We love you Ethan! May you rest now.
