On August 7, 1954 he married Eleanor J. Hartzler and they were happily married for over 70 years. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Carolyn Hartzler and Lucille Blough; and brothers-in-law, Vince (Jane) Hartzler, and Merle (Bonnie) Hartzler.
He was preceded in death by his sister Alice Graf; sisters-in-law, Joyce Hartzler and Donna Mogler; and brothers-in-law, Elmer Graf, Dale Hartzler, and Phil Mogler.
