MANSFIELD: Eleanor "Ellie" Pamer, 74, of Mansfield, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on April 7, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she was a beacon of faith, love, and kindness to all who knew her.
Born on August 24, 1950, in Salzburg, Austria, Ellie was the cherished daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Storm. Ellie emigrated, at age 5, with her family to Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. She was raised with strong Christian values, which she carried throughout her life, touching countless lives with her unwavering faith and compassion.
Ellie married her husband Thomas Pamer, on January 19, 1974, and together, for 51 years, built a life centered on love, family, and faith. She was a devoted member of the Ontario Christian Fellowship, associated with the Apostolic Christian Church, where she participated in serving, women's Bible study, choir, and other activities.
Her passions included gardening, cooking, feeding her backyard birds, and singing, but her greatest joy was found in spending time with her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to God.
She is survived by her husband, Tom, her children, Andrew (Thomas, Emma, Anna), and Michael (Rebecca and their kids Lila, Caroline, Jude, and Margaret).
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael, her mother, Elizabeth, her sisters Erica and Kate, and her brother John.
A celebration of Ellie's life will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 1 pm at the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, 2553 Lexington Avenue, Mansfield. Pastor Mark Brunn will officiate. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 10 am -1 pm. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to LifeWise Academy of Lucas, Ohio.
