Eustace "Dennis" Pearce, age 84, of Milford and Jamaica entered into rest on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at St. Raphael Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Devoted husband of 54 years to Beverley Agatha (Brooks) Pearce. Dennis was born in Somerset, St. Thomas, Jamaica, West Indies son of the late Joel and Vita (Dixon) Pearce.
He was an upholsterer for over 40 years. Dennis was a keen storyteller and was an avid Domino player. He was a Foundation member of the New Haven SDA Church, Kingston, Jamaica and Leithhall SDA Church, Leithhall, St. Thomas, Jamaica, West Indies.
Dennis was the beloved father of Jacqi (Christopher) Jones, Donald (Naomi) Pearce, Delores Pearce, Trephene Andrea (Michael) Wilf and Nadia Pearce, loving grandfather of Ayanna (Allen) Nembhard, Lauren Jones, Brianna Reed, Jaden Jones and Amanda Pearce and brother-in-law of Rebecca James and Kathleen Salmon.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Lester Pearce and Titus Pearce and four sisters, Iona Pearce Wilson, Nerissa Pearce Richards, Icilvie (Icyline) Pearce and Adassa Pearce Virgo.
On Monday, August 28th, friends may greet the family from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Bridgeport Tabernacle SDA Church, 717 Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. His burial will be at Huntington Lawn Cemetery, 40 Lane Street, Shelton.
