Evan Kord Wolfson, 35, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, at his home in Austin. Born in Hayward, California, Evan was the beloved son of Steven Wolfson and Tania Chavanne. From the very beginning, Evan radiated a magnetic energy—handsome, witty, and full of charm, he had a way of making everyone around him feel seen, heard, and loved.

Evan’s journey was one of passion, adventure, and deep connection. He grew up in Grapevine, where he attended Grapevine High School and formed friendships that would last a lifetime. It was there he met Jaime, the girl who captured his heart, and together they welcomed their greatest gift—Trevor Kord Wolfson—on April 22, 2009. Evan’s love for Trevor was boundless. He was proud beyond measure of the young man Trevor is becoming.

Evan’s spirit thrived in the outdoors. From skateboarding and lake days in his youth to wakeboarding, snowboarding, and hiking as he grew older, he found joy in movement and nature. He challenged himself physically, competing in GymShark and Warrior Dash events, always pushing his limits with a smile. Later, he discovered the thrill of motorcycles and the camaraderie of the riding community—a passion that lit up his soul.

Animals held a special place in Evan’s heart, especially his beloved huskies, who were more than pets—they were family. His compassion extended to all living things, and his home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

In 2015, Evan was baptized, and in 2020, he rededicated his life to Christ through Fellowship Church in Grapevine. His faith became a quiet strength, guiding him through life’s highs and lows with grace and humility.

Evan leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He is survived by his cherished son, Trevor Wolfson of Justin, TX; his mother, Tania Chavanne, and stepfather, David Michener of Argyle, TX; his father, Steven Wolfson of Reno, NV; his Aunt Paige; Uncles David, Chad, and Arthur; cousins Jessica and Ayden; and countless friends whose lives were brighter because of him.

He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Andrea Chavanne and Dori Solyan, and his grandfather Ken Wolfson.

Evan’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him. His laughter, his kindness, and his adventurous spirit will never be forgotten. He lived boldly, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy that will echo for generations.
