On May 21st, 2024, Evelyn "Eileen" Palmer passed away. Born on March 19th, 1933 to the late Myrtle and late George Besa, she was the beloved wife of the late William Palmer, Jr.; loving mother of Jacklyn Eileen Swann and husband Steven, Geraldine Palmer, Patricia Almony and husband Roy, William M. Palmer and wife Karen, James G. Palmer and wife Kim, and Charles V. Palmer; cherished grandmother of eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; dear sister of the late George Besa, David Besa, Nancy Linhart, and late Dorothy Besa. Also survived by other loving relative and friends.
A public visitation will be held at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Friday, May 31st from 3 PM to 5 PM and from 7 PM to 9 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 11 AM. Interment to immediately follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
