A dedicated homemaker and a woman of deep Christian faith, Mrs. Evelyn was a source of love and stability to those who knew her. Her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness will be remembered fondly by all who were blessed to be part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Matthew "Mack" Weathington, her son, Thomas "Jerry" Weathington, and her parents.
Mrs. Evelyn leaves behind her cherished grandson, Keith Weathington, and her loving brothers, Paul, Hugh, and Thomas Payne.
A funeral service will honor and celebrate her life on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.
