Everett E. "Ed' Feathers, 72, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 3, 2024. Born in Akron, Ohio to Ed and Patty (Sypolt) Feathers, he was a lifelong area resident. He worked in the family business, E. E. Feathers & Sons, for 54 years. Ed was a lifetime member of the First Apostolic Church in Tallmadge. More recently he enjoyed watching the church services online. He was a very sociable person who loved his church and loved God, woodworking, vintage Corvettes, architectural work and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his siblings, Beverly, Marjorie, Roberta, Cecil. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Stacey (John) Kline; grandchildren, Steven, Isaiah, Annika; siblings, Eugene (Carla), Joe (Diane), Diana Schreck; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, November 15, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
