Everett Eugene Lawrence, 94, of Puyallup, Washington passed away peacefully on Friday December 5,2025. Everett was born in Tacoma Washington on September 23,1931 to Glen H Lawrence and Laura A Hixon Lawrence. He graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1952. After High School Everett joined the United States Air Force. He served active duty from June 5,1952 - June 5,1956. He also was in the Air Force reserves until June 5,1960. After serving his country Everett worked for West Coast grocery for 38 years as a semi-truck driver.

Everett if preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Virginia Lawrence. Also his parents, 2 older brothers and 5 sisters. He is survived by his children Cindy(Rick) Alswager, Scott (Lisa) Lawrence, Ross Lawrence, Dar Otis, Pat(Michele) Mooney and Joe(Cindy) Mooney. 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Everett and Virginia met through square dancing and made many great memories and life long friendships from all their square dancing adventures. He loved all kinds of music, but especially country. He enjoyed going to performances and attending the practices of the Tacoma Banjo Club, where he made even more friendships. For the last 6 years Everett lived at Affinity of Puyallup where he liked his walks around the complex and making new friends.

Everett will be remembered for always having a smile on his face. He loved his family deeply and was loved by his large family and many friends.

A Celebration of Life for Everett Lawrence will be held on Saturday January 31,2026 1:00 PM at The Waller Road Grange 2708 E 64th St. Tacoma, WA 98404
