F. Paul Hetterich

F. Paul Hetterich, 59, of Victor, NY and Delray Beach, FL, passed away on April 10, 2022, in Florida after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his children, Sarah, Chicago, IL and Stephen, San Diego, CA; and his step-sons, Ethan Gardner, Victor, NY and Matthew Gardner, Chicago, IL. Paul is predeceased by his parents, Charles, Jr. and Gloria (Signorino) Hetterich.
He is a graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Le Moyne College. Paul had a long and successful business career with Constellation Brands where he began in 1986 as an assistant product manager in marketing. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chair, Beer Division and was looking forward to retirement later this year. His work in mergers, acquisitions, strategic planning and business development led to Constellation Brand's exponential growth around the world. In recent years, Paul enjoyed giving back by speaking with future business professionals at his alma mater. Le Moyne honored him with the Frank Fernandez Business Leader of the Year Award for remaining true to the Jesuit values of ethics, community service, and compassionate leadership. Paul developed a strong and determined work ethic back when he was a teenager working for Powers Farm Market in Pittsford, NY.
Paul was a master at building and fixing things and loved being out on the water on his boat. He was kind, loving, generous and funny. He built special relationships and showed his love and care through his acts of kindness and generosity. In addition to his immediate family, Paul is survived by his siblings, Julia Scharnberg, Norfolk, CT, Charles Hetterich III (Jill), Pittsford, NY, Elizabeth Howard (Jeffrey), Denver, CO and Eileen Eustis (David), Farmington, CT and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 19 at 1:00PM. at St. Louis Church, Pittsford, NY.
