Faustino Hernandez, 74, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, December 5, 2024, at home.
Services are 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline, with Father Antonio Dittmer officiating. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
Faustino was born February 15, 1950, in Mexico, the son of Jose Hernandez and Maria Martinez. He was married to the love of his life, Eloisa Rico.
He enjoyed watching baseball and playing billiards. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Faustino.
Faustino is survived by his wife, Eloisa; seven children, Jose Luis Hernandez, Maria de los Angeles, Patricia Hernandez, Ana Maria Hernandez, Alfredo Hernandez, Enrique Hernandez, and Yolanda Hernandez; his sister, Juana Hernandez; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Agustin Hernandez.

Los servicios serán el miércoles 11 de diciembre a las 3:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica de Santa María, en Moline, con el Padre Antonio Dittmer oficiando. La visita será desde la 1:00 p.m. hasta la hora de los servicios.
Faustino nació el 15 de febrero de 1950, en México, hijo de José Hernández y María Martínez. Estuvo casado con el amor de su vida, Eloisa Rico.
Disfrutaba viendo partidos de béisbol y jugando billar. Por encima de todo, la familia era lo más importante para Faustino.
Le sobreviven su esposa, Eloisa; siete hijos, José Luis Hernández, María de los Ángeles, Patricia Hernández, Ana María Hernández, Alfredo Hernández, Enrique Hernández y Yolanda Hernández; su hermana, Juana Hernández; y muchos queridos nietos y bisnietos.
