Faustino "Oscar" Lucio Rosales, 76, of Indian Wells, CA. passed away January 12,
2025, in Rancho Mirage, CA. He was born February 3, 1948, in Indio, to Faustino and
Jesse Rosales of Coachella. He graduated from Coachella Valley High School in 1966.
He is a retired Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He married Elizabeth Roslyn Green
and they had one son, Christopher Jason Rosales. Then he married Lori Mae Taylor
and they had one son, Alex Rosales. He went to work for Houston Lumber January 13,
1986, until his retirement in 2014. He married Patricia Wooten Hargrove on December
29, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Faustino and Jesse Rosales and
his sister Elizabeth Boomer of Oceanside. He is survived by his wife Patti Hargrove-
Rosales, two sons, Christopher Jason and Alex (LeAnna Quinton), three stepchildren,
Stacy Saporito, Elissa Hargrove, John (Rosalina) Hargrove, 14 grandchildren and 3
great grandchildren. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He loved
working with wood and putting Legos together. He made several wooden display cases
and shelving units to hold all the Lego models he would make. Graveside Service and
Interment will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 10:00am at Coachella Valley
Cemetery. FitzHenry-Wiefels has been entrusted with the arrangements.
