Fay Elizabeth Hall was on born May 27, 1942, in Sidney, Ohio, to Donald Leroy and Alice Marie (Myers) Snider. She married Kenneth D. Hall on October 23rd, 1976. She passed away at her home on October 2nd, 2025. Fay was an avid coin collector throughout her life and was member to several coin clubs. She loved spending summers camping with family and friends, spending significant time camping at Payne Town. She loved traveling out West to visit various national parks. She enjoyed reading and working on puzzles. She worked most of her life at The Busy Bee Bakery, as head cook at Sigma Alpha Mu and other fraternities/sororities, and, during the summers, she worked with the IU tennis and volleyball camps. Before retiring, she worked as a caregiver with Home Instead. She was very much loved by her family. She is survived by her loving children, E. Starlene Hall and Jacqueline Babette Hall, both of Greene County, Wanda (Rick) Holsapple of Bloomington, and Jonathon Wayne (Laura) Hall of Chillicothe, Ohio; grandchildren, Rebecca J. Sparks-Brown, James H. Sparks Jr., Amanda J. Lavender, Candice Odell, Kenneth Welch, and William R. Hall; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hall; beloved son, Clifford L. Hall; daughter, Aimee R. Welch; sister, Rebecca I. Snider; and brother, Marvin L. Snider. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Tunnel to Towers Fund at T2T.org. A celebration of Fay's life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory in Bloomington for all of her family and friends.
