Mrs. Faye was born November 14, 1939 in Flat Rock, AL to parents, Haskel Otis and Sarah Magdalene Hart Smith. She was a 1959 graduate on Pisgah High School. She spent most of her adult life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great-grandmother and enjoyed all of those titles very much. She is survived by children, Debra Holland(Joe), Sara Smith(Donny), Robert Carter Jr.(Jenni), Sheila Little, Donna Holcomb(Ricky), 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, brother, Buford Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert "Bob" Carter, sisters, Dimple Godwin, Jeanie Sampson, bothers, Harley, Jabo, Bernice and Edward Smith.
