Faye Towns Ward

Faye Towns Ward, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 10, 2025. Family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rooks Funeral Home, 213 West Church Street in Fort Valley. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Chamlee Baptist Church, 1502 Knoxville Street in Fort Valley, with Rev. Seth DeFore and Rev. Bryan McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, 720 South Camellia Boulevard in Fort Valley.
Born in Commerce to the late Grover and Irene Teece Towns, Faye worked as an insurance biller at Peach County Hospital for 20 years and at Diversified Pharmacy in Macon. She had a "green thumb" and enjoyed coffee, the Georgia Bulldogs, days spent shopping with her girls, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved God and was a devoted member of Chamlee Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Survivors include her beloved husband, Kevin Ward; her daughters, Kelly Selph and Kim Tresco (Nick); and grandchildren, Kelsey (Phillip Fisher), Kade, Evincole Tresco, and Kellianne Tresco (Tanner Wilder). She is preceded in death by her precious fur baby "Sadie".
