Felix Moreno, Sr. 73, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024. He was born on March 6, 1951, in La Villa de Esperanzas, Coahuila, Mexico.

Felix's work ethic was unparalleled as he dedicated himself to various jobs including working in the mines in Mexico and at refineries to provide for his family. Those close to him will always remember his unwavering to ensuring the well-being of his loved ones.

Outside of work, Felix enjoyed staying active by riding his bike, taking daily walks, and showcasing his passion for dancing. His infectious smile and joyful demeanor were constants in his life that endeared him to all who knew him.

Felix's proudest accomplishments revolved around his role as a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He cherished nothing more than spending quality time with his family and creating lasting memories with each generation.

Felix was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Maria de Lourdes Moreno; and brother, Francisco Moreno. He is survived by his children, Ricardo Moreno of Port Arthur, Texas; Felix Moreno, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Port Arthur, Texas; Sayde De La Cruz and husband Ovidio of Port Arthur, Texas; Gabriel Moreno of Port Arthur, Texas; Omar Moreno of de Palau, Coahuila, Mexico; and Karla Munoz and husband Saul of de Sorento, Louisiana. Felix also leaves behind 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Moreno, Luis Moreno, Guadalupe Moreno, and Martin Moreno.

A visitation service to honor and celebrate Felix's life will be held on Thursday, May 16th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Melancon Levingston in Nederland. It will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together to pay their respects and share fond memories of a remarkable individual who touched so many lives.

Felix Moreno will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
