Fern Liston, age 78, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Fern was born on April 14, 1947, in Proctorville, Ohio, is preceded in death by her loving husband George Liston, parents Chester and Delophine (Simpson) Ward, Lyndell Pemberton, Charles Ward, Larry Ward, Kaye Arnold, and granddaughter, Amanda. In addition, Fern is also survived by her loving children, Todd (Melody) Liston, Suzi (Gary) Pawlowski; grandchildren, Derek, Garret, Keith, and Darcy; great grandchildren, Eli, Kimber, and Colter: Siblings, Glenda Hutchison, Patricia Bazemore, Chestene Miller, Leland (Dona) Ward and brother in law John Arnold; many nieces and nephews; life long, best friend, Jean; special friend, Dan and many others friends.

Known for her warm heart, love of life, and generous spirit, Fern was devoted to those she loved most, her family. She enjoyed her flowers, shopping, socializing with friends, decorating and reading books to her great grandchildren. Anyone who was blessed to meet her, instantly liked her. It was said that she was a bright light and the glue that held relationships together. Fern retired from JC Penney Distribution Center in 2004 to spend time with her husband. During that time, she held several different roles and made many friends.

Her family will receive friends from 12-2pm with service starting at 2pm, Friday, August 15, 2025, at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home, 7915 E Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate in Reynoldsburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Carmel Hospice Fund, in memory of Fern. General Donation Form - Mount Carmel
