Lowell Dean Brickey, age 89, of Gahanna went to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Born July 19, 1936, at Fielden (Elliott County), Kentucky, the 8th son of Franklin and Felcie Williams Brickey.

Lowell was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Lowell, Jr.; four sisters, Irene Mauger, Sybil Wills, Edith Sparks and Janet Corriveau; and eight brothers Victor, Mitchell, Frank, Clifford, Ellis, Dennis, Clyde, and Ralph; and special friend Jean Murray. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Chafin, his daughters Sue Reynolds and Regina Brickey, 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember his kindness and humor. Lowell was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church, Mount Vernon, Ohio, where he was baptized in the North Fork Licking River on May 19, 2002. He enjoyed gardening, sitting on his porch swing drinking coffee, bargaining at yard sales, eating at Bob Evans, and spending time with his family. Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, from 11 am until the time of funeral service at 12 noon at Pfeifer-Woodyard Funeral Home, 7915 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg. Private family graveside will be held at Pataskala beside his mother and brothers.
