Flora Ann Baucom

Flora Ann Baucom, of Oxford, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the age of 77. Mrs. Baucom was a loving woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved fishing, visiting the flea market, and taking trips to the mountains. Yard sales were one of her favorite weekend pastimes, always on the hunt for a good find. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family. Her presence brought warmth and happiness to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Baucom, Sr.; daughter, Gail Baucom; parents, Herman Smith and Flora Pauline Smith; and sister, Ila Talley.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Hightower; son, Thomas Baucom, Jr.,; nieces, Wanda Talley, Deborah Littrell; grandchildren, Marie O’Neal, Pauline Hightower, Catherine Hightower, Isaac Hightower, Lisa Collins, Shaun Collins, Christopher Baucom, Destiny Baucom, Tristan Baucom, Dawson Baucom; Great Grandchildren, Julia Rodriguez, Christopher Corrilo, Ismael Rodriguez, Jesse Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, Adrian O'Neal, Juan Rodriguez, Isabella O’Neal, Jacob O'Neal, Terrell Hightower, Miguel Rodriguez, Zachariah Baucom, Riley O'Neal, Jesus Rodriguez; as well as several great- nieces, great-nephews and other extended family members.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Baucom will be held Monday, June 23, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family Sunday, June 22, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
