Flora R. Dymond, a cherished member of the Ellenville community, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024 in Grahamsville, NY. Born on September 17, 1945, in Wallkill, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Ruth (Dymond) Warren, and loving wife of the late Richard Dymond.
Flora dedicated her life to her family, embodying the essence of love and devotion as a homemaker. As a widow, she continued to nurture her family, finding joy and purpose in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Flora is survived by her son, John Dymond and his wife Beth of Ellenville, and her daughter, Ruth Ann Dymond and her husband Donald of Grahamsville. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Wayne Dymond, Amy Parken and husband Billy, Erika Allen, and Crystal Connor. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Hailee, Christian, Kylah, Kailynn, Trinity, Patrick, Jack, and Paul.
Flora had a close-knit family, also remembered by her sister, Shirley DeGrote, and her brother, Charles Warren. She was predeceased by her sons, Harold and Jeffrey, her grandson, Joshua, her great-granddaughter, Olivia, and her brothers, John Ralph and Ronald.
Her family and friends will gather to honor Flora's life and pay their respects during visiting hours on Tuesday, September 3rd, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Humiston Funeral Home in Kerhonkson. Flora's spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she loved.
