Services for Florence Virginia Hubrath, 90, of Mentor, will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 Noon on Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hubrath passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Kirtland Woods.

Born September 21, 1934 in Cleveland, she was a longtime Willowick resident before moving to Mentor in 1997.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening and making pillows.

Mrs. Hubrath was employed as a machine operator at Royal Plastics.

Survivors are her children, Arthur (Shelley) Hubrath, Lois (John) Yost, James Hubrath, Russell (Kori) Hubrath; grandchildren, Stacey, Keith, Nikki and Karley; sister, Hazel Zimmer and brother, George Grose. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Henry, on June 8, 2004. Her parents, Wilfrid and Hazel (Gathercole) Grose and sisters, Lavera Mansfield and Eleanor Wiley and brothers, Alan Grose, Fred Grose and Bill Grose are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Cypress Hospice, 2 Berea Commons, Berea, OH 44017 or the Alzheimer's Association, 23215 Commerce Park, Suite 300, Beachwood, OH 44122.
