Florence (Becky) B. Leighty, 89 of West Chester, passed away on October 12, 2025. Born to Charles and Catherine (nee Small) Beckett on November 29, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA.
Becky was an avid member of Delta Kappa Gamma since going to college at Penn State. She is a retired school teacher from the Lakota school district.
Preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 50 years, Clifford A. Leighty, sister's, Marion and Ruth, son, Randall Gray, grandson, Christopher Leighty and son in law, Dennis Young.
Becky is survived by her children, Heather Young, Pam (David) Witt and David (Jane) Leighty, grandchildren, Madison and Gabrielle Witt, David Leighty, Alysha (Junior) Webb, Thomas Young and Carmen Young, and great granddaughter, Ella Webb.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th from 11:00-12:30pm with a funeral service at 12:30pm all at Christ’s Church at Mason, 5165 Western Row Road, Mason, OH 45040. Interment will immediately follow her funeral service at Butler County Memorial Park, Hamilton, OH.
Memorial donations may be in her name to Epilepsy Foundation.
