Florence Opdahl-a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend-passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and joy.

Florence had a deep passion for cooking and entertaining; her kitchen was the heart of every gathering. Her hospitality and loving spirit created memories that will be treasured for generations. Another of her great loves was her dogs, Dee and Dave. She affectionately referred to her husband and her dogs as "the three D's"-Dale, Dee, and Dave-who brought her endless joy and companionship.

Florence and Dale shared a passion for discovery, and their adventures took them across the globe-to Australia, Taiwan, Turkey, and many other cherished destinations.

Florence is survived by her devoted husband, Dale Opdahl, and her cherished daughter, Kristin Johnson, whose late husband, Jeffrey, held a special place in Florence's heart. She leaves behind two beloved grandchildren, Ryan and Katie, whose lives were deeply shaped by her love and guidance.

She is also survived by her stepchildren: Ted Opdahl (wife, Vivianne), David Opdahl (wife, Corrlee), and Angie (husband, Darren); and their children: Nichol, Siobhan (husband, Ignacio), Emmett (wife, Tamar), Parker, Luukas, Anikka, and Karys.

Florence's legacy also lives on in her great grandchildren: Martina, Agustín, Olivia, and Alana, who will carry forward her gentle spirit and joyful heart.

She is survived by her sisters, Eardie Disante (husband, Walt) and Linda Rose, and was predeceased by her sister Jone Rose. She is also lovingly remembered by one niece and four nephews.

Florence's kindness and humor will be remembered always by those who knew her. She had a gift for bringing people together with grace and generosity, and she made every house a home with her care.

A private family celebration of life will be held to honor Florence's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to an animal rescue or a food charity of your choice-two causes close to Florence's heart.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
