Florentina Martinez Hernandez Obituary
Florentina Martinez Hernandez, known to all as Flor, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on March 14, 1946, in Guanajuato, Mexico, to her loving parents, Angela Hernandez and Francisco Martinez.
Flor's greatest passion was her family. She dedicated her life to her nine children and her love multiplied with the arrival of her 33 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her. Her home was a hub of warmth and laughter, where her delicious cooking brought everyone together.
In her free time, Flor enjoyed her hobbies of sewing and camping, finding peace and joy in both creative work and the beauty of nature. A woman of deep and abiding faith, she served God with a loving heart and found great fulfillment in teaching others about His word. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August, 14, 2025 ~ 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
Cremation to follow on Friday.
