Floyd Wayne Clark, 60, of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
Born in Bridgeton to the late Rowgene Clark and Lear Gates Clark, he had been a resident of Cumberland County most of his life. Floyd had worked for Safeway Cold Storage, now Americold, for 41 years.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, driving fast, motorcycles, cars, four wheelers, boats, shooting pool, Westerns, and playing horseshoes. Floyd also enjoyed gardening as he had quite the green thumb, he also loved Country and Bluegrass music. Floyd loved to cook, especially ribs, chili, chicken pot pie, and many other dishes he'd be remembered for. Floyd loved life and spending time with his family above all else.
He is survived by; four children; Eric Clark (Trisha) of Buena Vista, Kimberly Clark of S.C., Kathleen Clark of Vineland, and John (Katie) Clark of Alloway; fiance, Cynthia Peck; grandchildren, Erica and Annabell Clark; siblings, Debbie McDermott (William) of Hopewell Twp. and Bruce Clark (Sherri) of Estell Manor; and her niece, Danielle Phillips (Josh) of Estell Manor. He was preceded in death by; his parents, Rowgene and Lear Clark and his nephew.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 3rd at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11AM prior to the service. Interment will take place at Centerton Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp.
