Forrest Hunter “Boots” Greer, age 36, of Bristol, Va., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 24, 2025, at his residence. A graduate of Virginia High School, Forrest formerly worked at KPS Global. He was well-known for his passion for the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Edward Greer, Sr.
Boots is survived by his mother, Becky Greer; brother, Robert “Pooh” Greer, II and wife, Amanda, all of Bristol, Va.; two nieces, Shea Greer and Autumn Greer; nephew, Kanyon Greer; and two great nieces, Remi Greer and Oakland Roten; several aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as, his faithful canine companions, Moon and Noel.
A private family service will be scheduled in the Spring.
