Frances B. Barriault, age 74, of Waterbury, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Frances was born on July 24, 1949 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Ernest Ziegler and Hazel (Rassiga) Yakulevich. 

Frances was a lifelong Waterbury resident and attended local schools, graduating from John F. Kennedy High School, Class of 1967.   She worked as a coil winder for AI-Tek for 17 years, retiring in 2019.  Frances adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family, and the occasional Sunday drive.

She is the beloved mother of Stacey Shanahan and her husband, Bryan of Southington and Michael Barriault and his wife, Sandra of Meriden.  Frances also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Ava and Leah Barriault and Owen and Mackenzie Shanahan.
