Frances Katherine Grounds, 86, of Freehold, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Frances was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved to Brick with her husband Bill in 1983 where they stayed until they retired to Freehold 13 years ago. Her pride and joy were her 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading her Stuart Woods novels, watching her General Hospital and doing crosswords.
Frances was predeceased by her parents Peter Amorino and Vienna DaPuzzo, loving husband William Grounds; and sister Kathleen Simon. She will be fondly remembered by her dear brother Michael and his wife Barbara, her children Robin Clem and her husband Steve and Patti Martin and her husband Rob, grandchildren David Pianese and his wife Kristy, Rebecca Morales and her husband Jay, Joseph Pianese, Sarah Pianese, Devon Clem, Jessica Martin and fiancé Brandon and Amanda Martin and great-grandchildren Zoey, Lily and Grace Pianese and Max Morales.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, February 17th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home,344 Route 9 North. A funeral service will be held at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home on Tuesday February 18 log at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C.
