Frances "Carol" Robben, 76, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on October 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born on May 21, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Francis and Bertha Fackler. She dedicated much of her life to helping others, working for many years as a drug and alcohol counselor, offering guidance, compassion, and support to those in need.
A woman of deep faith, Carol was Catholic and found strength and peace in her beliefs. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-spending time with her family, reading a good book, bargain shopping, and cheering on her favorite teams, especially UK Basketball and her beloved baseball games. She also never missed an episode of The Young and the Restless, her favorite soap opera.
Carol will be remembered for her generous spirit, warm heart, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Denis Robben Sr.; her sons,Jimmy and Mathew. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Harris(Torrey), and her bonus family, Denis Robben Jr.(Stacy), Sarah Horton(Eddy), Rachel Robben, Theresa Robben; along with 7 brothers and 5 grandchildren, Victoria, James, Bailey, Sophie, Destiny; and 8 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 10-12pm with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Burial will follow at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana
