Frances Ann Rochester

Born on January 13, 1936, to the late Lloyd Homer and Retha Bell Smith Rochester, Frances Ann Rochester went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 3, 2025.
She was married to the late Charles Edward Rochester. Frances is survived by her daughter, Carla Rochester Payne (Ed) of Lawrenceville, GA; her sister, Juanita Sullivan; and her beloved grandchildren, Cameron Payne (Claire) and Caitlin Payne.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Rochester Duffey, and sisters, Pauline Fowler, Vivian Shelor, and Nancy Kenney.
Frances spent most of her life in Westminster, where she attended Westminster Wesleyan Church. She was a talented pianist and often shared her gift of music by playing at her home church as well as other churches in the community.
Throughout her life, Frances worked in various jobs and was known for her strong work ethic. She enjoyed reading in her spare time and was a godly woman who always put her family first. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she found great joy in watching her loved ones open their presents.
She will be deeply missed, but her love, faith, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Delmar Gardens Assisted Living in Lawrenceville, GA, for their loving care of Frances over the past four years.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
