Lois Winchester Lusk
Seneca, South Carolina - Lois Winchester Lusk, wife of the late Mason Leroy Lusk, passed away on November 14, 2025, at Keowee Square, surrounded by love and devoted care.
Born on May 15, 1933, in Walhalla, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Judson Winchester and Zona Bell Savage. Lois worked in the garment industry, where she was known for her diligence and warm spirit. A lifelong and faithful member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church, Lois found great joy in serving her church, especially working with the children. She and her husband shared a special love for traveling, creating countless cherished memories together throughout the years. Lois was also a proud member of the Eastern Star and was extremely active in supporting her husband's work with the Shriners Hospital, assisting with fundraising efforts for the Shriners Hospital for Children, events, and community activities such as the dune buggy parades. Her commitment to service and her generous heart touched many lives.
She is survived by her children, Judson L. Lusk (Denise) of Seneca and Natalie Kirkpatrick (Philip) of Townville; her sister, Juanita McCall (Jack) of Walhalla; her grandchildren, Chad Lusk (Heather), Josh Lusk (Laura Ann), Kade Kirkpatrick (Stephanie), and Allison Kirkpatrick; and her great-grandchildren, Camden Lusk, Asher Lusk, Tanner Mason Lusk, Sadie Jo Lusk, and Renee Kirkpatrick.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Lois was preceded in death by her siblings, Jack Winchester, Leroy Winchester, Hazel Alexander, and Grace Butts.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with entombment to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. on Monday at Sandifer Funeral Home.
