Frances Pauline Seagraves, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the age of 98. Mrs. Seagraves was a dedicated employee of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where she worked faithfully for 54 years and was a proud member of the AJC 25 Year Club. Outside of work, she found great joy in playing golf, dancing, and traveling. She especially loved taking trips with her daughter Linda, with favorite getaways often leading them to the casinos in North Carolina. Known for her great sense of humor, Mrs. Seagraves brought laughter and warmth to those around her and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Seagraves, Jr., son, Glenn Seagraves; parents, Ernest and Pauline Copeland; and sister, Elizabeth Adams.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Hale; and grandchildren, Shane Seagraves, AnJannette Watts.
