Frances Sullivan Obituary

Frances Madeline Sullivan, who graced this world from July 26, 1942, to March 15, 2025, managed to fit in a lifetime of wit and warmth. Born in Richmond, Virginia, and making her exit from Kinston, North Carolina, Frances had an unrivaled talent for making even the most mundane moments memorable.
In her brief career as a Training Coordinator, she was known for her impeccable ability to herd cats-or perhaps more accurately, humans-as they navigated the complexities of professional life. But it was in her hobbies that Frances truly shone. Her crochet skills could turn any ball of yarn into a masterpiece worthy of admiration (and perhaps a bit of envy). Her love of video games kept her youthful spirit alive, likely introducing her to the latest generation of pixelated adventures.
Frances's heart belonged to her grandkids, who were the ultimate recipients of her wisdom, humor, and occasional indulgence. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, Cuddles and Crowley, who never failed to appreciate her generous belly rubs and playful antics.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Kim and Tere, along with Kim's husband, Steven Wilson. Her granddaughter Brandi and Dustin will continue to carry on her legacy, alongside her great-grandchildren Tyler Smith, Teagan Smith, and Tobi Rouse. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Luther Chapman, and her grandson Patrick who no doubt greeted her with open arms and possibly a new set of yarn.
As per Family's wishes, no services are scheduled at this time. Instead, her family encourages all who knew her to cherish their favorite memories of Frances, preferably while crocheting and battling through a particularly challenging level in a video game, all while surrounded by loved ones (both furry and human).
Frances Madeline Sullivan may have left us too soon, but her spirit continues to inspire laughter and love in those she touched.
