Frances Elizabeth Williams, 88, of Navarre, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at her home.
Frances was born September 11, 1936, to Joseph Solomon and Tillie Lubbin Solomon of Wright, Minnesota. She was one of eleven children, three boys and eight girls. She was a graduate of their local high school. At the age of twenty, she married Charles "Speedy" Williams of Panama City, Florida, and together they raised three children. Among other places, they lived in Mesa, Arizona before moving to Navarre. Frances was employed at various places, but her fondest memories were working in housekeeping at the former Navarre Beach Holiday Inn where she formed many friendships. She was an attendee at St. Sylvesters Catholic Church.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years; her brother, Joe; her sisters, Matilda, Katherine, Elsie, Elvina, Judy, and Dolly; and her granddaughter, Elizabeth.
Frances is survived by her brothers, Glen and Kenny Solomon of Cromwell, Minnesota; her sister, Bonnie Potter of Crowley, Texas; her children, Charles Williams of Gulf Breeze, Becky Williams of DeFuniak Springs, Randall Williams of Navarre; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
Honoring the wishes of the deceased, there will be no memorial service. Her ashes are to be buried at her husband's gravesite at Barrancas National Cemetery on NAS Pensacola.
The family wishes to thank Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital, Covenant Hospice, Home Instead Home Care, and Lewis Funeral Home for their assistance and care.
