Francis M. Broccoli

Francis M. Broccoli passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, at his home in Newark, DE with his family by his side.
Frank was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. His unique sense of humor, love of adventure and generosity were just a few of his many fine attributes.
Frank excelled in football and baseball in high school, but his true passion was music. He was an excellent guitarist, bassist, keyboardist and loved playing with his bandmates every Wednesday night in his basement. In addition to his love for music, he enjoyed going to concerts and throwing the frisbee. He also enjoyed boating, camping, skiing, traveling, and especially loved tinkering in his garage. Many who knew Frank referred to him as 'MacGyver' because he could fix just about anything. He had a special talent for creating and building anything mechanical.
Frank graduated from St. Mark's High School and the University of Delaware, where he majored in Computer Science and Mathematics. He was a Systems Analyst for over 30 years with Armstrong Relocation, formerly Holman United and United Van Lines, where he began his career as a Mover.
Frank was predeceased by his daughter, Jordan; his grandparents, Frank & Leona Broccoli; and his aunt, Kay Jones. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mindy; his son, Michael; his parents, Frank & Judy Broccoli; his brothers, Tom (Sue) and Joe (Kate) Broccoli; his in-laws, Robin & Melanie Nixon, Lisa & Geoff Straga, Don & Sue Nixon; his loving cousins; his nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
Taken from us all much too soon, Frank will be dearly missed and remembered in our hearts forever
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 from 9:45AM-10:30AM at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 907 Milltown Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM.
