Francis "Frank" Broccoli passed away on February 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and hard work.
A graduate of Salesianum High School, Frank earned his bachelor's degree from Goldey-Beacom College. He began his career with the Pennsylvania Railroad before venturing into business ownership, running Robbins and Clark Hardware for 17 years. His leadership extended to retail management, where he spent many years at Rickel's, Channel and Service Merchandise. Beyond his professional life, Frank's passion for family and community shone through in everything he did. He spent years coaching his sons' Little League teams, instilling in them the values of teamwork and perseverance. An avid boater, he cherished over four decades of "boating and floating" with family and friends on the Sassafras River (Brock's Yot-Duffy Creek Marina)-his true happy place. Frank's life was defined by his devotion to family, his strong work ethic, and the countless memories he created with those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leona Broccoli; his son, Frank; his granddaughter, Jordan; and his sister-in-law, Kay Jones. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Judy, whose unwavering partnership was the cornerstone of his life. He was a devoted father to Tom (Sue), Joe (Kate); a loving father-in-law to Mindy; and proud grandfather to Michael, Matt, Justin, Ty, Karly Miller (Blayne), Chase, and Jake.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025 from 11AM-12PM at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 907 Milltown Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation by visiting www.parkinsons.org or by mail, 5757 Waterford District Drive, Suite 310, Miami, FL 33126.
