Born March 1, 1963 in Scranton, PA, he is the son of Chester G. Drake Sr. and the late Barbara (Hoar) Drake. Tom was a graduate of North Pocono High School, and was employed in transportation.Tom loved music, and was a proficient writer of poems and various prose. He wrote a screen play, and documented churches throughout our region with his You Tube presentation of "Songs by Tom Drake."
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his father are his brothers: Chester "Chuck", and wife Marsha of Clifton Twp. PA, Michael D. Drake of Covington Twp. PA; his sisters: Christine Beasley of Clermont, FL, and Kathleen Atkinson of Roaring Brook Twp. PA; and nieces and nephews; and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday May, 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in Light of Christ Church, 2071 Moosic Lake Road, Jefferson Twp. PA.
Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
Interment will be conducted at a later date in Moscow Cemetery, Moscow, PA.
