I meet Frank through Trout Unlimited. A tremendous gentleman with a wealth of knowledge, compassion, expertise and sharing. To me and I am sure others he was considered the doctor of fly fishing. Time with Frank was always special, from a trip to Bass Pro Shop in Auburn to get my starting gear, to many memorable Chenango Valley TU trips and meetings. Always a welcoming smiling! A true blessing to all those around him. May his times on the streams of heaven be calm and overcast.

When I decided to learn about fly fishing, Frank was the main teacher at a fly fishing class organized by Trout Unlimited, providing all the in-classroom instruction needed to start. On my first fishing trip, Frank guided me to a fishing spot on Hazel Road and sat and coached me while watching me fish. He was a true conservationist and fisherman who loved being out on water helping others.

Frank will be greatly missed by all his friends at the Chenango Valley Chapter #209 of Trout Unlimited. Frank was very dedicated to the Chapter and always ready to help with a project.
