Francis Paul Maloney

Francis Paul "Fran" Maloney, of Norton, formerly of Raynham, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025. He was 78.

Fran proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, where his bravery and steadfast sense of duty were recognized with several military commendations. Following his service, he dedicated more than 40 years to the construction industry, working with various companies before retiring as the owner of his own successful general contracting business. Known for his strong work ethic and skilled craftsmanship, Fran took great pride in every project he touched.

In his free time, Fran enjoyed boating, building military models, woodworking, and tinkering with classic cars. He will be fondly remembered for his magnetic personality, his devotion to his family, and kind nature.

Fran was happiest when surrounded by his family. He was the devoted father of Paul T. Maloney and his wife Erin of Norton, Lynn A. Druan and her husband Timothy of Bridgewater, and Gail A. Mills and her husband William of Raynham. He was the cherished Grandpa of Morgan, Collin, Hailey, Kelsey, Cassandra, and Kara. Fran was the former husband of Ellen Maloney of Raynham and the loving brother of the late Thomas and William Maloney. He is also lovingly survived by multiple generations of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, November 24th, from 4–7 PM at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 7 PM. A private burial will be had at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne Tuesday, November 25th.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Fran may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
