Frank Allen (Wendell), 84, of Paris passed away on Thursday December 20th at Paris Regional Health.
Celebration of Life will be held at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home on Monday, December 23th at 10am, with family and friends visitation at 9am. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Frank was born in Marvin, TX the son of Frank and Katherine Allen.
Frank retired from Yellow Freight in 1997 after which he drove a truck for Allen Trucking. He also proudly served in the Army.
He was an avid fishermen and loved spending time making his own fishing nets. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time at the deer lease with his son and grandkids. Frank had a green thumb and provided many of fruits and vegetables to his family, friends and neighbors. He was a simple man who loved to joke and bring a smile to those around him. He loved his family and cherished them.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Allen, his parents Frank and Katherine Allen, a sister Linda Thomas, his daughter Michelle Ford, a grand-daughter Madison Allen, and a loving pet Tootie.
He is survived by his Wife Donna; Son Michael Allen; Step Daughter Stacie Gregory and Husband Thad Gregory; Brother Bobby Allen
Grandchildren Kelsie Patterson and Husband Tyler Patterson, Natalie Rhoades and Husband Robert Rhoades; Amanda Merritt and Husband Ty Merritt; Ashley Ayad and Husband John Paul Ayad; Constance Gregory; Gideon Gregory and Wife Brittany Gregory; Great Grandchildren Brentley Patterson, Paxton Patterson, Baylor Rhoades, Emma Wilson, Angelina Ayad, Alanee Ayad Great Great Grandchildren Deacon Dudley
