Frank M. Beardman

Frank M. Beardman, age 81, of Orrville, formerly of Fremont and Zanesville, died Monday, November 25, 2024, at his home in Orrville, following a short illness.
Frank was born on December 24, 1942, in Southington, Ohio, to the late John and Margaret (Ritter) Beardman. He received his Bachelor degree in Business Administration at Ohio University and his MBA degree at The University of Akron. He worked in Human Resources Management his entire career, covering fifty years. His last two places of employment before retiring was Volvo in Orrville and Gerstenslager in Wooster.
While working, Frank served on the Board for Goodwill Industries in Wooster and the Orrville Chamber of Commerce. Following retirement, he volunteered for five years at Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County in construction and also for the MCC Thrift Store in Kidron. His hobbies included woodworking and making Christmas ornaments for his grandchildren and Godchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, golf, and cooking. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Orrville.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah; five children, Carole (Daryl) Steel, Cynthia (Eric) Brandt, Christopher (Andrea) Beardman, Rita Valenzuela, and Andrea (Clay) Anderson; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, John Beardman; four sisters, Martha (Alex) Wolanzyk, Margaret Sliver, Patricia (Colin) Gillis, and Teresa (David) Eppley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Sliver.
Friends may call on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Lake and Oak Streets, Orrville, with Fr. Ronald J. Turek officiating. Burial will take place at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
