Frank Jerome Clager, 80, of Columbus, OH passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He graduated from Bishop Watterson High School (Class of 1960) and received his BS in Business Administration from The Ohio State University (March 1965). His faith in the Catholic traditions and teachings was deep and unwavering. He was elected national president of the Catholic Youth Organization's Young Adult Section in 1965. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of the Knights of Columbus and named "Knight of the Year" in 1979 by Council 1414 of Columbus, IN. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of over 54 years Patricia (Foeller) Clager; his children Michael Clager, Jennifer (Rick) DeSutter, and Jerome (Jodi) Clager; his two grandchildren Alexis Clager and Adam DeSutter; his brothers Larry (Cathie) Clager and David (Sharon) Clager; and his sisters Beth (Tom) Callahan and Carol (Bill) Rehak; his wife's sisters and their spouses; and numerous nephews, nieces, and life-long friends. A visitation will be held at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, located at 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio on Friday, January 6th between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church, located at 6899 Smokey Row Road on Saturday, January 7th at 11:30 a.m and will be officiated by Fr. Jerry Rodenfels. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be sent to the National Kidney Foundation Serving Central Ohio, 1491 Polaris Parkway #268, Columbus, OH 43240. Arrangements by Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio.
