Frank Eberling Obituary
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 PM on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Eberling passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home.
Born March 19, 1949 in Cleveland, he has lived in Mentor for the past 47 years.
He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville, and enjoyed fly fishing, gardening and genealogy.
Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Carol A. (Bures); sons, Frank (Lindsey) Eberling and Joseph Eberling; grandchildren, Franklin and Nora; brother, Gary (Dar) Eberling and nephew, Brian Eberling. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maxine (Foley) Eberling.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Mentor Cemetery, 6881 Hopkins Road, Mentor, in Section 28, near the flag poles at the south end of the cemetery.
