It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Frank J. Gergely, Jr., 66, of Garrettsville, OH, who went home to his Lord and Savior Sunday, May 4, 2025, with his loving family by his side. He was born April 12, 1959, in Welch, WV, to the late Frank, Sr. and Teresa Gergely.
Frank graduated with a BA from WVU in Morgantown, WV. He received his MBA from CSU in Cleveland, OH. Frank was a devoted husband to his wife, Gayle, with whom he shared 39 years of marriage. Some of Frank's passions included traveling, golfing, fishing, bicycling, pickle ball, yoga, ballroom dance, chess, tennis, and above all else, spending time with family and friends. Throughout his life, Frank demonstrated unwavering commitment to his family, friends, work, his array of passions, and his faith in the Lord and Catholic Church.
He will forever be missed by his loving wife, Gayle Gergely; daughter, Michelle Crawford; grandsons, Nicholas Crawford, Matthew Crawford, and Andrew Crawford; brother, Joe (Judy) Gergely; sister-in-law, Vicki Gergely, as well as many other extended family members and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Gergely, and sister, Teresa (Robert) Taborn.
Per Frank's wishes, he is to be cremated. Services for Frank are private and were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
