Frank P. Labarbera

Frank P. Labarbera 87, of Bonita Springs, FL passed away on February 28, 2023 at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice. Frank was born August 22, 1935 in Utica, New York a son of Joseph and Jennie (Battaglia) Labarbera. He had been a resident of Naples since 1994 before moving to Bonita Springs three and a half years ago.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict. After the war, he spent most of his career in the wholesale meat industry in New York.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lucille S. Labarbera; one son, Frank P. Labarbera and his wife, Sarah of Naples, FL; one daughter, Karen Ann Bartela of Chester Springs, PA, and four grandchildren, Jak P. Labarbera, Richard Bartela, Daniel Bartela, and Sarah Bartela. He is also survived by his two brothers, Joseph Labarbera (Marilyn) of Frankfort, NY, and Salvator Labarbera of Frankfort, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Additional services and burial with military honor will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery.
