Union: Services for Reverend Frank McGaugh will be held 3:00 p.m., June 20, 2025 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Lee Kirk and Rev Don Cook will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 1:30-3:00 p.m. prior to chapel service at Milling Funeral Home.
Rev. Frank McGaugh, 84, of Union, answered his final call to Heaven on June 15, 2025. He was born in Winona, MS to Jessie and Bessie McGaugh.
He was a minister in the Church of God for 56 years. He pastored several churches in Mississippi and held revivals across several states for many years. A skilled carpenter and co-owner of McGaugh's Construction, working alongside his son Dwayne until his retirement. His favorite vacation destination was the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. He made many trips over the years, cherishing the peaceful beauty of the area until his health began to decline. Above all, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and a proud grandfather who found his greatest joy in time spent with family.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Donnis McGaugh; Son, Dwayne McGaugh (Teresa) and Daughter, Cheryl Jerrell (Mike).
Grandchildren: Josh McGaugh (Candace), Erin Phillipson (Joe) and Jessie Jerrell
Great-grandchildren: Kallee and Briggs McGaugh
Step-grandchildren: Quint Gilmore (Katie) and Jade Gilmore
Step-great-grandchildren: Mackenna and Maisie Gilmore
Brother: Jimmy McGaugh (Nita)
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Bessie McGaugh; Brothers, Eugene, Billy, and Don McGaugh and Sisters, Kathy Kimbrell, Peggy Hitt, and Pat Loper.
Serving as pallbearers: Josh McGaugh, Jessie Jerrell, Joe Phillipson, Quint Gilmore, Justin Hicks, and Derek Anderson
Honorary pallbearers: Briggs McGaugh and Lake Hicks
