Franklin "Frank" Senich, age 85, of Mentor, passed away July 2, 2025 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born November 14, 1939 in Cleveland to the late Michael and Helen (nee Petrus) Senich.

Frank served as a First Lieutenant and Company Commander in the U.S. Army in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. He loved spending time with his family and friends, working in his yard and serving others. Frank was also a committed member of his church, St. John Vianney Parish in Mentor, and he was honored to be a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. During his professional career, Frank was a mechanical engineer for a number of companies, including TRW, Correct Air and the Lintern Corporation.

Frank is the beloved husband of the late Geraline (nee Strobl) Senich; dear father of Michelle (Kevin) Atwell; grandfather of Abigail (Andrew) Dilbone and Christopher, Hallie, Emma Atwell; great grandfather of Eloise and Margaret Dilbone; and brother of the late Andy Senich and Michael Senich.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025 at 10 AM at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd. in Mentor, where the family will receive friends from 9-10 AM prior to the mass. Burial will follow the mass at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio.

Contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
