Frank Charles Strong, 64, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce, FL, near his home on Hutchinson Island, FL, a place that he loved dearly. Frank was born and raised in Miami, FL, and attended the University of Florida. He had been a resident of Hutchinson Island since 2017, and had previously lived in Sedona, AZ, for many years, which is where he raised his family.
Frank is lovingly remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor and his kindness to everyone. He is predeceased by his father, Charles DeWitt Strong, and his mother, Sally Rose Tribuna. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Primmerman, his daughter, Jacqueline Rose Schmidt (husband Peter Lawrence Schmidt, Sergeant First Class, U.S. Army) of Pinehurst, NC, daughter Chelsea Madeline Strong of Scottsdale, AZ, his step-son, Jordan Dean Newton (wife Stacy Lynn Newton and their children), of Sedona, AZ, and grandchildren Natalie Bliss Schmidt and Abigail Rose Schmidt. He is also survived by his four siblings, Dianne Marie Britton, Glenn DeWitt Strong, Christian Michael Strong and Mary Alice Strong, as well as seven nephews, one niece and their families.
A small family memorial will take place at a later date. Donations in Frank's honor can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice (treasurehealth.org).
