While looking through my Flight Log to see who was the Bombardier/Navigator on my last fight as a Marine pilot, I noted it was Frank "Tank" Wolcott, on 27 Jun 1990. My memories of him were he was definitely a character but knew his stuff as a BN and I could tell as a 1Lt he loved flying and being a part of a great group of Marines. So, Frank, it´s was great having you on my right side during my last A-6 ride. I´m sure bombs were on target, on time that day. Semper Fi, Scott Craig, USMC, Retired.

Sandy (Sassy)
I am so sorry for the loss of Frank (little Frank). He was always nice and fun-loving whenever I was around him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family.
God Bless

I first met Frank Wolcott in 1977 in the Marine 104th OCS class at Quantico, Va. Frank was a Mechanical Engineer out of Georgia Tech and was brilliant. Frank was built like a tank and Tank eventually became his call sign after flight school while flying his A6 Intruder off aircraft carriers all over the world. After OCS, TBS, and flight school, I ran into him many times during deployments all over the world, where Frank continued to defy the dictionary for appropriate superlatives to account for his service. I lost touch with Frank in 1986 when I left active service for the airlines, only to run into him again in 2017. We spent hours catching up and laughing about our lives since OCS, and became fast friends again. Frank made a good mark on the people that knew him, and I know we´ll all miss him.
