Frank M Ybarra, a man of extraordinary kindness, selflessness, and courage, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, in San Bernardino, California. Born on September 7, 1934, in California to the late Felipe Ybarra and Maria Mena, Frank's life was a testament to the enduring strength of the human spirit and the power of compassion. Frank's early life was shaped by the loving guidance of his parents and the close-knit bond he shared with his siblings. He was a cherished brother to Jesus Mena Ybarra, Irene Solorio, Josie Zamorano, and Phillip Ybarra, with whom he shared countless memories that became the fabric of their family's story. Frank is preceded in death by his siblings: Rita Delgado; Felicitas (Stella) Alva; Jenny Galvan; Maria Ovelia Ybarra; Yogi Ybarra; Robert Ybarra and nieces and nephews and friends.
In 1951, at the tender age of 17, Frank made the selfless decision to enlist in the United States Army. His service to the nation reflected his courageous spirit, and it instilled in him a sense of duty and honor that he carried throughout his life. Frank's military tenure not only shaped his character but also reinforced his commitment to helping others, a commitment that remained a defining feature of his life.
After his honorable discharge, Frank continued to serve his community with the same dedication he showed in uniform. His work ethic and involvement in various associations exemplified his drive to make a positive impact on those around him. Frank's life was one of purpose and passion, and his legacy is one of inspiration.
Those who knew Frank will remember him as a pillar of strength and a beacon of kindness. His selfless nature was evident in every action he took, and his courage in the face of adversity was a source of comfort to all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. Frank's ability to love unconditionally and to give without expecting anything in return was a rare and beautiful gift that he shared generously.
Frank's departure from this world leaves behind a void that cannot be filled. Yet, in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him, his spirit lives on. As we mourn the loss of a remarkable soul, we also celebrate the extraordinary life of Frank M Ybarra-a life lived with honor, grace, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of others.
In honoring Frank's memory, we are reminded of the profound impact one individual can have on the lives of many. His story is one of true heroism, not just in the line of duty, but in the everyday acts of kindness that defined his existence. Frank's legacy will continue to inspire and guide us, as we hold dear the memories and the values he embodied.
Frank M Ybarra's life was a journey of love, service, and selflessness. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we take solace in knowing that his legacy will endure in the lives he touched and the love he shared. Rest in peace, dear Frank, until we meet again.
